Nowadays companies must compete in a complex changing market, strongly influenced by a society where globalization, information technology, as well as  a strong sense of uncertainty and future unpredictability are affecting all aspects of their lives and businesses.


As a result of these trends, flexibility and a constant strive for knowledge and competence development are emerging as new social needs. From this prospective, training is becoming a fundamental tool helping to form new skills, culture and perception to understand this new environment and to create cutting-edge businesses. Training makes individuals, groups, and companies more adaptable to new organizational and social environment and help them invest on their potentials. Forma Temp financed programs

FORMA.TEMP (Fund for the training of Temporary workers) is a bilateral body established as an independent non- profit association by the Employment Agency Association, Temporary Worker Trade Unions and the three Trade Unions Confederations. This entity has made some financial resources available with the view to develop temporary staff competences within the framework of labour policies. One of its main objectives is to improve qualification techniques for fixed term workers.

A general agreement approved by social partners, and some subsequent integrations, laid out a set of interventions and education programs to be carried out in order to provide for a didactic offer that could be suitable for this particular sector both from the company and the workers perspective. As a result four instruction areas have been identified:

BASE TRAINING: focusing o the development of workers basic competences to boost occupational opportunities, the purpose being to  convey more general skills to improve work entry possibilities by unemployed and by first job-seekers by teaching organizational competences and basic knowledge of new contract forms.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: a more specialized type of instruction based on technical- professional abilities and cross competences. Being more specific, it helps users to successfully adapt to any working organizations and productive contexts.

ON THE JOB TRAINING:  supervised programs whose aim is to adjust workers’ professional skills to a particular job and organizational requirements. This type of courses respond to new training requirements and depend on company peculiar needs. As a result, they are short targeted courses, that might even train users to the correct use of the equipment necessary for the performance of their tasks.

CONTINUING TRAINING: providing for professional refreshment and skill enhancement programs. They involve courses aiming at qualification improvement and update, competence reinforcement,  as well as all the instruments needed for strengthening and boosting company and staff competitiveness.

 E-LEARNING

In a society where knowledge is everything, learning is becoming the main intangible asset to invest on. For this reason, e-learning is a great opportunity both for companies and workers, as it allows companies to foster organizational process effectiveness and individuals to acquire new useful skills to face current labour challenges. It is a non stop training process that involves information technology for planning, selecting, managing and education improvement by means of module-based targeted didactic courses allowing to achieve new didactic goals.

The student can actively take part to a fully tailored programs without time restrictions or need to physically attend a classroom, as happens in traditional courses, simply by using the internet and remote information sharing devices,  that allow the interaction among teachers, tutors and other students, allowing them to compare, exchange ideas and clarify contents. Another important advantage is continuous assessment and monitoring, the purpose being to lead to a full awareness of learning processes and ongoing achievements.
